Prior to founding Wen Beauty, my career traversed two distinct and diverse paths.  After obtaining my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Sciences at Penn State University, my first career was in the field of Corporate Wellness for Johnson & Johnson and then for an International Bank.  Wishing to further my studies with the hope of establishing corporate wellness programs in Asia, I furthered my studies by earning an MBA in International Business at Northeastern University.  My goal at the time was to establish a career sharing what I personally loved, lived, and believed in and transferring those core values to others by teaching them, within their workplace, how to achieve healthy lifestyles through diet, exercise, and wellness programs.  My career took a pivot when my father asked for my assistance to help him buy out his partners and reorganize our family’s restaurant businesses that I had been involved with since their inception. Quite unexpectedly, I fell in love with the business.

This was the start of my second career. For just under 40 years, I devoted myself to our Chinese restaurant business, facing numerous challenges but also reaping immense rewards and personal enrichment. The relationships formed with beautiful families and the friendships fostered within the community were invaluable. One of the most gratifying aspects was witnessing the immediate impact of our hard work and effort as families and guests indulged in our culinary offerings and left happy and satisfied.
