Prior to founding Wen Beauty, my career journey followed two distinct and rewarding paths. After earning my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Sciences from Penn State University, I began my first career in Corporate Wellness — working with Johnson & Johnson and later serving as Assistant Director at an international bank.
Driven by a desire to expand my impact, I pursued an MBA in International Business at Northeastern University, with the goal of establishing corporate wellness programs in Asia.
My passion has always been rooted in helping others feel better and live healthier, more balanced lives—sharing the values I personally believe in through education, lifestyle, and wellness practices.

My career took an unexpected turn when my father asked for my interim help buying out his partners and reorganizing our family’s restaurant businesses — ventures I had been part of since their inception. What started as a temporary commitment quickly became something much more. I fell in love with the business.

A Second Chapter Built on Community

This marked the beginning of my second career. For nearly 40 years, I dedicated myself to our Chinese restaurant business. While the journey came with challenges, it also brought immense personal fulfillment.

The relationships formed with beautiful families and the friendships fostered within the community were invaluable. One of the most rewarding aspects was seeing the immediate joy our hard work brought to others — seeing families and guests indulge in our culinary offerings and leave happy, satisfied and connected.

A Turning Point That Changed Everything

Many people ask how a restaurateur transitioned into the Micropigmentation - Semi - Permanent Makeup-industry.

In March 2020, unexpected health challenges affecting multiple family members and loved ones led me to face a difficult but necessary decision — to close my restaurant and prioritize caring for those most dear to me.

Coming Full Circle with Purpose

Given this third opportunity to redefine my professional path, I found myself coming full circle. Once again, I chose a career rooted in purpose — one that allows me to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
