Meet Cathryn Wen – The Artist Behind Wen Beauty

Helping women in East Hanover, NJ enhance their natural beauty through expert micropigmentation and personalized care.
 

Prior to founding Wen Beauty, my career journey followed two distinct and rewarding paths. After earning my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Sciences from Penn State University, I began my first career in Corporate Wellness, working with Johnson & Johnson and later serving as an Assistant Director at an international bank.
 

Driven by a desire to expand my impact, I pursued an MBA in International Business at Northeastern University, with the goal of developing corporate wellness programs in Asia. My passion has always been rooted in helping others live healthier, more balanced lives.
 

A Second Chapter Built on Community
My career later took an unexpected turn when I stepped into our family’s restaurant business. What began as support soon became a lifelong passion.

For nearly 40 years, I dedicated myself to building meaningful connections through our Chinese restaurant. The relationships formed and the joy we brought to our customers made this journey incredibly fulfilling.
 

A Turning Point That Changed Everything
In March 2020, due to unexpected family health challenges, I made the difficult decision to close the restaurant and focus on my loved ones.

This moment became a turning point in my life.
 

Coming Full Circle with Purpose

With a renewed sense of purpose, I found myself returning to my original passion—helping others feel confident and empowered.
 

Through Wen Beauty, I now help women enhance their natural beauty through expert micropigmentation, delivering results that are both subtle and transformative.
